Quick View of Y2k Videogames

Here is a quick view of my favorite y2k videogames. I've always had an interest in blogging, so here is my first one.

Wherever together (どこでも一緒)

Adventures with your favorite cat, Toro Inoue, is the beauty of this game. Its visuals and overall seeing life through a wannabe human animal is strangely comforting. It will forever stay in my heart even if I haven't played it due to it being hard to get and is 26 years old.

Fatal Frame

The classic japanese horror game is so iconic its whole setting and aesthetic has remained for years a hot topic on the internet, and recently gained popularity for the clothes and make up of its protagonists. It is one of my personal favorites.

Yume Nikki (and Yume 2kki)

This one is way darker, with multiple theories surrounding the story of this little girl and her journey through the world of her psyche while she sleeps. All the characters incarnate her feelings and experiences through a non-conventional dream world, colorful yet eery. Because of this, the fans developed their own sequel and its pretty decent to be honest.

Style Savvy

For the fashion lovers, this is gold. There is much to say about the imperfect perfection of the gameplay of each of the installments of this series, and shares many traits with the other games.  There is already a 1-and-a-half hour documentary about it on YouTube, so I won't extend more. Here is the link if you wanna watch it.

Silent Hill

Silent Hill is the only one in this list to reach Hollywood, and it totally deserves it. Altough psychological horror mixed with supernnatural monsters is no news, wether it is the setting or the story makes it quite attractive.

This entry is already a bit long so I will post part 2 later.
