things need to change

It's all tiresome , really

the social media gender wars between the "whatever podcast" type girls and the "redpill andrew tate" type dudes

the isolation we all face because of fear of being judged due to cyberbullies warping our perception of reality

the resignation to vice and addiction as a substitute for human connection.

I'm in particular tired of it 

and I would like to see a world where not everybody is on their dang ol' smartphone doomscrolling instagram and tiktok instead of interacting on campus

is it just me being a boomer 19 year old homeschooled kid? maybe, but i'm not happy with this , things have to change.

and as for the love life, while i don't even have to tell you how bad that is. if only people wouldn't objectify each other so far, but that's besides my point.

I long for a future with a spouse, kids, a nice home, you know, the works

but it's starting to look like that's getting farther and farther away from being a reality.

going on 19, never had an irl gf (or bf i don't judge) and i spent most my teenage years as a shut-in, only now getting back into the world.

TLDR i basically only this year have started to become who i want to be and have my mental health recovered, and with that i've had a growing desire to meet people and find romantic love too.

but it is a big adjustment to make ; going from a shut-in hikikimori to becoming extroverted and involved in the world, and it's taking it's sweet time to get into motion.

my point is this

there should be more to life than porn, scrolling, gender wars, extremists fighting online 24/7, and isolation.

there's a beautiful world waiting if we just throw this negative system of living out the door
