So yesterday while recess I drew on the floor with chalk, like I usually do. It's not that big of a deal, I don't draw anything obscene or hateful, just my tag and some doodles. (To be even more specific, I drew 'a.d.i.d.a.s KORN', the Monster Energy logo and my signature.)
I wouldn't have been in trouble if I wouldn't have also written "The only good naz1 is a dead naz1", a statement I am proud to say, and I don't think is harmful. I'm not even going to discuss it, naz1s are bad as much as 1+1=2. It's basic understanding. Being a naz1 is not okay, period. There is no good reason to be a naz1, and that's final.
And today I got called out on it, and I was forced to clean it off the floor because it was " hateful " and " not appropriate ".
... What.
I mean, I can understand the " not appropriate " part. I know we're at a school, and that is not the place to be discussing ideologies. But there are more swastikas drawn all over the school's property than I could ever count. Kids draw them mindlessly as a "joke" and no one gives them even a warning because "they can't prove it was them doing that". It's stupid that those symbols are not being erased while I am not allowed to do advocate against them.
If you don't want politics/ideologies (sorry I don't know the difference, but you get the point) in your school, that's fine. But don't allow swastikas on desks, walls and bathroom doors while calling out someone for writing something against it with fucking CHALK in the CORNER of the schoolground. It was going to be erased by rain anyways, and even if it wasn't, it's not even half as bad as a swastika.
Anyways... It's not worth the fight. I'm just mad I got in trouble for such a stupid reason.
