is it worth getting a job while being in highschool?

umm ive been thinking about it for a while now.. im not old enough to legally get a job in my country but when i am, is it worth it?

i already really struggle with time management and a lot of procrastination so i just wanna know if i should or shoudlnt. 

the extra money would be pretty useful for adulthood.. uhh idk

im posting this here incase someone who is/was in the same situation can help me out

If you can, it absolutely is. Just depends on your outlook on the situation. One one hand, you'll have job experience before most people, you'll have money in your account, and you'll probably have more "freedom" when it comes to things you want. But there's also a trade-off. Obviously, you won't have a lot of time to yourself anymore, you'll be busy at work to really enjoy your younger years, and the hardest part is finding someone to hire you, not only will you also need a ride to work, you'll also just have a better time enjoying being a teenager than you will working. All of us will be working 'til the day we die, enjoy the time you have right now.
