Religion is a coping mechanism

DON'T READ IF YOU ALREADY DON'T LIKE THE TITLE YOU'LL JUST HURT YOUR FEELINGS

I get people need their things to help with the crippling reality of death but a mistranslated muliti versioned book from the 1200 B.C. - 100 B.C. (an estimate) being your one reason for living is straight crazy not to mention the saying "one delusion and it's over" because it's so true it's scary how normalized religion is and how horrifying it is honestly most religions aren't far from being a cult not to mention the moral factor SOME people read the bible or some other religious book and are like "this book says it's wrong so I'm going to base my opinion off that" which of course is stupid and no- one thinks like that these people are genuinely thinking that these books are some sort of moral compass that these words and pages dictate their life and apparently others too so many religious people (mostly Christians) try to force religion which is not okay in any way but they are so sick in the head that they think they're genuinely helping it's mind boggling how insane it all truly is I don't think religion should have come this far and have this big of an impact on the world i genuinely think we could have evolved so much more without religion and I don't mean to insult anyone in anyway this is just an opinion you're allowed to express yourself in any and everyway
