Just kind 0f a rand0m thing but as s0me0ne wh0 didnt get t0 experience the 2000/10s because i was either n0nexistant 0r a baby, this year is s0 peak ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
This year has been like a em0 renaissance, mcr t0ur, p!atd in wwwy, dan and phil relati0nship ann0uncement, vine is g0ing t0 be br0ught back by 0ne 0f the guys that made twitter, the it and stranger things hype at the same time, theres like 50 stephen king adaptati0ns, tumblr resurgence and pr0bably a l0t 0f 0ther stuff!!! (✯ᴗ✯)
I d0nt really kn0w what t0 say 0ther than im really happy and exited, its als0 kind 0f the reas0n i decided t0 finally l0g back int0 this acc0unt and i finally s0rt 0f get t0 live my dream 0f being a c00l tennager in the 2000/10s.
Maybe we d0nt need t0 reset the internet and start fr0m the beginning (we d0).

I was so exited for the mcr tour, but they skipped like almost every country in Europe so I can't go :(

Im kind 0f exagerating a bit l0l, because i did kind 0f get t0 live thru that era but i was like a little kid and i als0 definitely didnt kn0w what was g0ing 0n in the US 0r in english speaking c0ntent because it isnt my first language.
Im just m0re exited that rand0m things that i am int0 that arent really p0pular n0w are making a big b00m again (✿^‿^)

As a person who remembers the time before the Xbox One was even announced (before there were subversions like the Xbox One S and whatever the hell it is now), the "Console Wars" were going on, and I remember clear as day when the End wasn't even added to Minecraft: Xbox 360 edition yet... It was a glorious time.
For example: one of my family's friends had a whole Nintendo Wii (the ORIGINAL Wii console that was vertical/upright) plugged into an arcade machine that was two-player compatible and we played Mario Kart Wii on it as much as we could.
For reference, I have a photo of me as a kid playing the classic version of Minecraft before there was a dedicated launcher nor software to launch the game from or at all. It was just me playing the then-only website version of the game during Classic. I remember vividly trying to dig through the stone, finding myself in lava - and since there was only "Creative Mode" back then before the Survival test - I got lost in the seemingly unending (small pool) of lava. I was freaking out at the time and my parents were watching me screaming as I was computer-supervised.
Funny times.
Another thing is that I am also old enough to remember when the Xbox One had come about with it's absolutely *horrendous* "flat minimalist design" with NO avatar on the second screen/"screen swipe"/when you swipe it over to the right for the next screen.
I still have the first Xbox 360 I ever got in 2010. I shortly thereafter also got a limited edition Xbox 360 but it was a limited edition because it was a deep olive green with Halo 3 multiplayer PVP map "Guardian" with the giant trees. Sadly I don't have the Halo 3-themed one anymore.
If you want any more examples of stuff that I can at least specifically remember from those times, feel free to just respond to my comment and I'll respond when I can.
Also sorry for the long read/rant, I have a tendency to ramble lol.
Thats c00l as hell, im n0t the biggest game nerd but the first (and 0nly) c0ns0le i 0wned was a wii (which i think was als0 the vertical versi0n) and im als0 a huge minecraft nerd f0r like alm0st 11 years (✯ᴗ✯)
Als0, what i think kind 0f helped is the fact that im fr0m a 3rd w0rld c0untry s0 when trends are 0ver in the US and places like that they were just arriving here.

I know some 3rd world countries have vastly more access to things that are older. That's a thing I definitely know.
I don't know what may be popular modern day-wise in 3rd world countries, and depending on where such countries are in the world and their restrictions and imports on foreign stuff... But I know damn well that some 3rd World Countries that I know of that are in the same region of the world I'm in are still distributing VHS tapes & VCRs, DVD stuff, etc.
I managed to buy a few blank, unused VHS tapes and even paid more than what was owed because the people that I've bought them from are honestly really kind and (I thank them sincerely for this) aren't scamming me.
So far the people I've encountered from different areas are very nice compared to where I am.
I've also gotten cassette tapes from bands that are in 3rd world countries. I remember a band I once really liked (I don't remember their name anymore, sadly) that was from the 90s and they were still producing stuff as late as 2016-2017. I bought some cassettes from them in South America and got like 2 of their cassettes of their 3 albums they had out that was "Underground" type music.
In the place where I live, everything is high-priced and digital. I'm glad I'm not paying for many subscriptions. I only pay for internet as a want and everything else that's a need (water, food, shelter).
I don't need Spotify, I don't need a fancy camera or a modern phone to take pictures. I am using my 2015 DELL laptop to type this on right now. Who needs modern stuff? If you have what you want and even if it's outdated, you don't need to replace if it isn't broken.
That's the rule I go by at least.
Car has scratches and a few dents? Oh well. Just keep driving. Doesn't matter until you need to replace/fix up something.

Als0 n0wdays stuff is way m0re accesible and easier t0 see even if its fr0m the 0ther side 0f the w0rld because 0f h0w crazy the internet is n0w, and i was als0 a child and didnt really care ab0ut p0p culture things 0ther than marvel and minecraft.
