i like various genres so.. but i wanted some music similar to either scarling or him or the gazette.. or something like elias and the error.. or just like some alt rock in general

unfortunately i have no idea who these people are, so i can't give recs that are close to those musicians' works, butttt i've thought of a few recs!
"incubus" by recoil
"tiny vessels" by death cab for cutie (i'd generally recommend the "transatlanticism" album from that band because it really is amazing)
