there has always been something so visually appealing to me about older games and hardware maybe cuz i grew up with the ps2 (ps3 and 4 where out i was just broke and had it sent to me from the US by my uncle when i lived in mexico at the time) I don't really like the n64/ps1 style tbh i always thought it was cool but just kinda ugly anyways I like how eerie and desolate things can feel especially in FPS multiplayer maps even just the menus for basic things like the PS2 LAN Network setup looked so visually appealing to me
I LOVEEEEEEE R&C 3 online it feels so 2000s to me I love the entire atmosphere of the game most of the time i played splitscreen or ran around the maps alone the vehicles kinda felt too op..

I love how this mod looks and feels the maps are decently big its free and doesn't make my decade old computer implode
PS2 menus always looked so cool to me i love their colors of blue and black and even the system sounds for the LAN menu
Medal Of Honor heroes is such a fun game i tried out the online multiplayer a couple weeks after i got back for the PSP and it felt really cool to play online games on a 20+ year old console

Yeah, or maybe the legacy version of Minecraft because I grew up with the PS4 and Xbox 360 editions.

I think I might know a game you’d like (the dev is weird and the games never been updated tho..) but anyway!!! It’s called Tactical schoolgirls its got a similar vibe I think but it’s kinda just a level based game where you do the same thing over and over =T-T=
Yooo I remember seeing stuff about that game and it randomly got popular again off tiktok a while back too I might have to check it out
