Ok, so I'm a tumblr user (I'm not gonna link my Tumblr here since it's fulla fandom junk and I want this account to be like, more centered around my real life instead of my fandoms) and OH MY GOD some of the people on there are SO ANNOYING. I have like, THOUSANDS of tags blocked but no matter how hard I try I can't scrub my dashboard clean of those gross washed out pale pink photos of deers or bunnies or skinny blonde young "delicate" white women doing drugs with text over them about how mentally unstable you are. LIKE GIRL. I understand that you're going through a lot but posting your fresh scars and drugs and ED thinspo and Lolita (book) romanticization is NOT IT.
Anyways stupid rant over go listen to I Wish by Skee-lo byeeee!!

no ur right, ive never been a fan of it because ''soft'' aesthetics never did it for me but theres so many freaks who sexualize teens or are teens themselves!! a lot of this evolved from the nympette aesthetic which is already a gross ass name knowing the context of lolita! idk im sick of these people acting like its normal
Personally, I'm a fan of cute pink aesthetics which is probably why I'm especially annoyed by coquette, since it keeps creeping it's way into my dash when I just wanna see glittery pink stuff.
And also, yeah the normalization of Lolita and nymphetcore romanticization is just SO weird and gross to me! I can't see how ANYONE on earth could read LOLITA and go "hmm yes! This is exactly my aesthetic and I will theme my Tumblr account around it!!"
