I HATE COMPUTERS

oh my GOD i should've written about this earlier but deciding to do it now since i realized i haven't really talked about this here

SO, last month, legit near the end of the month on the 30th, was using my laptop like normal when the thing shut itself off, it had done that previously so thought it was just overheating or something, but when i turned it back on, it shut itself off again on the login screen, and it did that again, and again, and again, i could boot into safe mode just fine but trying to actually use my computer was basically fruitless, did damn near everything i could think of to fix it, reinstalling windows (10), updating my drivers, even uninstalling all my programs, still nothing, just constantly shutting itself off, sometimes instantly, sometimes after a few minutes (plus the speakers didn't work anymore). so took it to a repair shop and hoped to have it back by now but the shop is both seemingly dragging their feet on repairing, but also apparently the issue is with the motherboard, i have no idea what's wrong with it exactly but i know it's basically GG if the motherboard on your laptop is fucked, esp since i have an asus gaming laptop and the motherboards aren't cheap to replace. 

haven't been able to really do anything the past month, no drawings, basically no updating my site, unable to play pc games, etc. etc. so it's just been fucking boring, have been borrowing someone else's laptop but it's too weak to really do anything (for reference, the screen resolution is 1366x768 and only has 8GB of RAM, that should say everything).

besides, even if i get my laptop fixed by then, i'm just getting a new one anyways on black friday, specifically a lenovo legion (likely a pro 5, there's a more 'powerful' model but it just has an intel cpu instead of an AMD), both more powerful and seemingly more reliable too, constantly hear people rave about how it's the best of the gaming laptops rn, only issue is it just comes with 1TB of storage space so prob buying a 4TB SSD alongside it, likely gonna sell the old laptop once i get a new one.

also if i hear someone be like "JUST BUY A DESKTOP!!!", i'm ripping your guts out.
