My favourite musical (as in title) is celebrating it's tenth anniversary! To celebrate, I am linking some videos and cool posts for you guys. The songs of Death Note The Musical

^This AMAZING Tumblr user has translated the Japanese songs to English to give a better understanding and interpretation about the story. This is because the meaning can change and arguably have more meaning. One example of this would be the English version of the song called "Hurricane" being about how Light is going to 'be the hurricane'. The Japanese version of the song is simply titled "Death Note" and follows a more dynamic approach to Light's character, where he at first considers getting rid of the note, then realizing he can give up his mind and body to what he believes is a greater cause. In conclusion

I love this musical so much, it is a hyperfixation of mine that will never go away and always be a part of me. There are more performances, like the West End concert that they did a year or two ago (though not my fav, as I don't think anyone had a lot of time to prepare amongst other stuff LOL, but I love that they did it though and would have loved to support!). I hear that they are in fact doing a full on show the next time they bring it back there, and you KNOW I would spend my money to go, as it would be cheaper than flying to Japan or Korea to see their CURRENT 10th anniversary performances!! (fun fact, Kenji Urai is back to play Ryuk- which I think is poetic, and I believe is reprising his role as Light in a concert!) Anyways I can't speak Japanese or Korean, so going to the UK would be the easiest last minute thing to do if I somehow ever did. 

WELP, I hope this sparked some inspiration in you guys, I own both the Kakizawa and Urai versions of this musical on CD and listen to them nonstop, and I hope you do as well!
