are other peoples classmates dumb?

good evening people

are people in anyone else's school just dumb and loud? in my geometry class today, we had a question that was so easy that it was suspicious, and everyone in my class was struggling with it

the question (since idk how to add pics):

Line CD is the perpendicular bisector of line AB, the lines intersect at point E. Which of these statements are true?

• E is closer to A
• E is closer to B
• E is the same distance from A and B

(the answer is the third one just in case you're second guessing)

I wish I was exaggerating when I say that EVERYONE is my class didn't know that answer!! like what? the people in my class are 10th and 11th graders and they can't answer this simple question?? and this was a literal warm-up question btw. I swear I just can't deal with them sometimes, like I actually had to help them answer because they were being serious. And I feel so bad for my teacher because she just got back from maternity leave, and I could already tell that she was getting frustrated with them. And when she gave us homework, my classmates were SOOO so so SO whiney about it and even got attitudes, even though its due at THE END OF THE WEEK, annd we went over it in class (AND its only 10 questions). Also we had a long-term substitute teacher before the real teacher got back, and the things they did to that sub . . . I could never be a teacher
