Rotten apple/poison apple books

Anyone else read the rotten apple/poison apple books back in the day? I remember when i was younger it was so hard to try and find books i actually enjoyed, but this book series was my jam. I think it was one of the first book series i remember being really invested by. I remember loving how it was a little more "edgy" than the other books i read, it had things like vampires, zombies, ghosts, doppelgangers and other stuff, I don't remember it all because its been literally years since i touched any of the books but one of these days i desperately wanna buy them and put them on my bookshelf. 

Im realizing now that alot of the books i really liked as a kid tended to have something to do with the supernatural or creepy, its probably why i struggled so much to find books I enjoyed because it was so hard through elementary and partiallyy middle school to find those kinds of stories. Granted i didn't only like those books, i did enjoy reading the lunar Chronicles in middle school, and princess candy sugar hero in elementary, but i was particularly interested in anything supernatural or strange in a book. Bunnicula was my first favorite book i can remember, crime biters and nightmares where both books i got at the scholastic bookfair, a cryptid graphic novel series, and of course the mentioned poison and rotten apple series.

I remember my favorites being "At first bite" a story about a girl trying to keep her being a vampire secret (at least from what little i remember) and "Mean ghouls" about a girl who is sent to a boarding school after contracting a zombie like illness and spends the book looking for a way to cure it. The stories were all very fun and engaging, nowadays i still love that the main character was always a girl, i kinda see the series as the girl version of the goosebumps books, i honestly feel like they should be just as popular as goosebumps. I still really like how the covers look too, the girls look cool on the covers (even if alot of the cover designs look pretty similar in how they're designed) one of these days i might draw fanart of the covers, draw them all in my own style.
