My Band 

Hey, it's me Julia and i want to intruduce you to my Band. Soooo my Band is called "Selbstgedanke", we are a German Indie-Rock Band from Graz, Austria. We are between 16 and 20 years old and have our first gig together soon! But now I will tell you a bit about ouselfes

Members:

I will start with the most important thing, THE MEMBERS!!! :) We have, 

• Fabi Tenco: Our Singer, Songwriter and Rythm Guitarist, he is very talented in writing, has a huge love for music, more than anyone I've ever met and is a huge fan of several great artists, where he get's his inspiration from. Those artists are: Bob Dylan, Marco Wanda (Wanda), Isolation Berlin and Falco. (you should totally give them a listen, and if you like any of them, our music could be something for you.)
• Ju (Me): The Bassist and backing Vocalist. I've been playing bass for more than 4 years now and would say i am quite talented in my Instrument and have the passion for making music. I already had several Gigs with my school Band and can absolutely tell you that I am really fun on stage, never staying still, always moving to the music. Artists I get the inspiration for my basslines from are: Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Interpol, Pixies, Joy Division and The Smiths!
• Kathi: The most talented Guitarist I know, she is THE goat on Guitar and always knows when to put the most perfect Solo's. She is also the kindest and most down-to-earth person that i could ever think of, no one can compare to her, like you look at her and you can tell the pureness in her heart.
• Flo: The Drummer, he's sometimes a bit unmotivated but really amazing on the drums, he doesn't have to listen to the whole song and already has a full drum solo and knows exactly what to play. He's really tall compared to the others, which i find quite funny since that's so steretypical that the drummer is always a Titan compared to the other Band members. He`s also the Person that is providing the space to practice our songs.

Songs and Socials:

So yesterday we uploaded our first EP - but it's not online yet, so I hope it will be on tomorrow, I am so excited for the release. On the EP are:

• Ich geh nie wieder arbeiten: A cover from Willi Warma, a former Punk Band from Linz, Austria. The song is about how the Band will never go to work again, it's fast and has a strong meaning.
• Made up dreams: Self written song from Fabi, It's our only english song (for now) and the first song Fabi has ever written
• In meinem Kopf: A self written song about a friend of Fabi that is shizophrenic and imagined that his parents are in his head, it's a masterpiece in my eyes.
• Graz: A song about our hometown, a song about our experiences in Graz. It could actually be a huge hit.

We have Instagram: @selbstgedanke.music and we sometimes post on there. We will definetly post after our first gig on the 27.11.2025 in the Explosiv Graz. Our songs will also soon be uploaded to Spotify, so i would really look foreward to seeing some more streams and followers on our Page. Our motto is Music for the people, from people. I can really recommend listening to us as soon as our EP is out. I will definetly Update you on our upcomming Band Projects and who knows, maybe we'll see each other in distant future on a Concert. :))
