Den Haag

I went on a very short trip through the north of the Netherlands with my friends this summer, and I've been thinking about it a lot these past few weeks.

I miss how I felt surrounded by people I felt so comfortable with for those few days, and so far, I found the sea at Den Haag to be the most beautiful one I have seen. I just wish I could meet them at the station and hop on a train to go right back! I bet it's real cold, windy, and rainy right now too.Β

I'm shivering with jealousy just thinking about it. It was already that way when we went in the summer. Imagine now! I could probably even wear two jumpers if I wanted to. Every morning, I'd wake up a bit earlier than them to see the sunrise from the small window covered in water droplets. It was the one that had the best view out of the three there were.

They accompanied me to a museum just so I could see an exposition on ornithologists (and only understand half of it... My Dutch has gotten really bad from lack of practice). That day, we were too tired to do all that we wanted to do- and that means we missed out on a trip to the maritime museum. I really need to go back to see it.

I'm so grateful I can go on trips like these in the first place. I hope that in my future there will be many more and that I might even move somewhere that makes me as happy as Den Haag made me.Β

Wow that sounds so awesome, it sounds like you really enjoyed it! Beaches with rainy, foggy, or generally cold weather are the best, and you speak about your experience so poetically ⋆.ೃ࿔.π–₯” ݁ Λ–*:ο½₯ΰΌ„
