STOP USING AI ON COLLEGE

i don't approve the use of ai anywhere, college or school, but there's something that bother me a bit more when it comes to people using ai in college (≖､≖╬) xpecially 'cause there are ppl in my class that use it for EVERYTHING!! 

it just doesn't make sense to me why ppl even choose to join college if they don't want to study... or do anything... (￢ ￢)

i'm currently on a group project with some ppl i know. only one of them is actually my friend, but the thing is that there's this girl who joined our group that no one really knows. i mean we know her name, we've interacted with her sometimes and we know she's in our class. we would not usually get her to join our group, but she was alone and didn't have anyone to make this project with, so we gave it a shot.

the problem is: we didn't know she uses ai for EVERYTHING. she changed her whatsapp pfp to an ai generated image of herself, and that already felt off because me and that friend i mentioned are very openly anti-ai, but we let it slide 'cuz what else could we do?? ask her yo change her pfp?? (・・?)

anyway, the project is simple: we just had to read this text (that's pretty short btw, max 10 pages), anotate, divide it in some topics and present it to the class. simple right?? very basic stuff we do all the time!! WELL

my friend, who's kind of a leader in our group, said to everyone that we should NOT use ai on our texts, seemed fair to everyone, but this girl proceeded to send not one, not two, but THREE TEXTS, ALL VERY CLEARLY AI GENERATED. after that my friend obviously got pissed, but maintened respect for her and asked her to make her part on the project WITHOUT using ai or she would tell our teacher and she would fail the project. the girl then told my friend that she doesn't even use ai wich IS CLEARLY A LIE, JUS LOOK AT UR OWN PFP FOR CHRISSAKE!! ٩(ఠ益ఠ)۶ 

anyway, i doubt that anyone will actually read this, but PLEASE stop using ai on your college projects, specially when you're working with a group, that will only piss everyone off and give the impression (wich is usually true in this cases) thare u're dumb and can't even develop basic skills for your course by urself
