♡ Introduction ♡

Well, I took a long break from SpaceHey. Life get's crazy once you're an adult, so it's not as easy to stay active like I used to be able to in the myspace days when I was in middle and high school! I thought a little introduction post could be nice.

So: hello! My name is. Shannon, I'm a queer thirty something year old who moved from New York (born and raised) to settle into the cozy life of the PNW with my spouse! I love to wear cute girly outfits as well Japanese fashion inspired styles. I've been heavily into J-fashion since I was a teenager, so I guess you could say it was never just a phase! I also really love to read. I like reading mangas as well as books. My go to genre is fantasy. I love escaping into magical realms and soaking in the world building and intrigue of it all! I tend to gravitate towards queer titles because I find them more relatable, but I'm okay with all fantasy, so please feel free to send me your book and manga recommendations please! Winter is approaching and in the PNW, that means nothing but rain, so I can use all of the reading materials I can get my hands on.

I'm full on OBSESSED with Ensemble Stars and Love and Deepspace, which is what inspired my interest in the world of oshikatsu! I love creating cute ita bags and crafts of my favorite characters. I try to romanticize every aspect of my life and live life softly. We live in such a rough world and I find the best way to resist it is to remain soft, kind, gentle, and to live life slowly in the present moment, so that's how I aspire to be too! Suffice to say you won't catch me at the club any time soon. My ideal day is going to the coffee shop to read and then enjoying a walk in the park! I met him a few times when he was 15 or so because I briefly dated his brother Nick when I was younger and now Nick is genuinely one of the best friends I could ever ask for. I only bring this up because typically when people follow me there, the first DM I receive is usually something along the lines of: OMG FINN WOLFHARD FOLLOWS YOU??? and I am sorry to say it's not a very exciting story because the kid is about ten years younger than me, and I think years back he only followed me to be the nosy little brother wanting to get to know his brother's (at the time) girlfriend. So there's the most interesting part of my lore!
