helloo long time no post :3 

 im gonna make my best effort to be more consistent blogging on here. i have a few ideas in progress rn, in addition to that i'll prolly start talking more about my daily life, showing new gets (i have a gorgeous mars set otw eeeee!), and sharing make/co*des... i unfortunately tend to forget to take pictures of myself :P its about time i got a bit better abt that. but before any of that, i thought i should share a short lil something i wrote back in september and somehow never posted  along with some pix from my digital camera.

                this past weekend i attended my                     

                                                             first gal meetup in D.C. ^_^

We had a huge picnic at the national arboretum. Other than the sweltering heat and the fact everyone had to go in the visitor center to wait out some rainclouds when we arrived, it was pretty perfect. I had a  wonderful time and it truly lived up to everything i expected it to be. I brought kandi supplies to make bracelets and my two volumes of kera, lots of people brought snacks and magazines as well. 

We all sat around chatting, eating snacks, and looking through mags for about 4-5 hours. It was awesome to get to know a group of strangers with similar interests + style and make new connections!! I’ve been gal for five years but i had yet to come across any local meets until now. 

I work a full time job so recently in my day to day life I don’t get to wear it as often as I would like (hopefully that will change!) but i wear it out just about any oppurtunity i get. When i go to raves, which i attend pretty often if im being honest, on nights out at my favorite queer bar, concerts, and sometimes at local punk shows too. 

I’ve never come across another gal when im out and about but surprisingly enough more than a few times now people have come up to me and recognize that im wearing gyaru, and plenty of people who don't really know what they're looking at usually dig my style regardless.

I've attended a few general j-fashion meetups, but this was truly my first time going to an event that was specifically gyaru oriented and hanging out with people who wear the same style that i do! Here's to hoping more fun oppurtunities like this will come up in the near future.  ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶
