How I make my oatmeal!

HIII!!! I'm gonna start posting some healthy recipes I make!! Relatively low cal, but I will add the macros of the one I make + products!

Ingredients:

- 1 vanilla chai or black vanilla caramel tea bag

- 1 1/4 - 1 1/3 cups of water, depending on the consistency

- 1 tbsp pure maple syrup

-  1/2 tbsp chia seeds

- 1/2 cup oats (I use quick oats, but I'm sure any oats are fine)

- 1 tbsp peanut butter (I use natural 2 ingredient, but I find regular peanut butter works better. I just prefer the taste of natural)

- 1 banana

- 1/2 scoop of plant based protein powder vanilla by simple truth (important since it uses a bigger measuring device, if you use a typical protein powder with 2 servings on the nutrient label then do 1 scoop)

1. brew tea: in a small pot, add water and tea bag. bring to a boil

2. in a bowl, mix oats, chia seeds, and protein powder

3. add oat mixture into the pot with tea. reduce to a simmer, and stir constantly until it is to your desired texture. remove tea bag when done

4. add maple syrup to oatmeal and mix in serving bowl

5. chop banana into slices, arrange ontop of the oatmeal

6. in the microwave, melt the peanut butter. if you are using natural peanut butter, it won't melt it will soften

7. drizzle or spread peanut butter over the bananas

8. ENJOY!!

notes:

I add more water since I've found it doubles the volume of oats, and helps the tea flavor come through better

I usually eat the oat part first bc the banana and peanut butter is sooooo yummy

I have been eating this EVERYDAY since july btw
