how do you mourn an angel's last day on earth??
dear little rex of ours :( our little guardian, off to heaven today. our baby, our boy.
our sweet boy. 11 years youngim going to miss rex so much.
i dont know what im going to do without him to comfort me in my room at night, to always know he's right there in the corner, watching me, making sure im safe. what am i gonna do when a package arrives and he's not there, proudly alarming me and defending our turf??? i miss the click clack of his claws as he walks, hes not walking much now with his hip dysplasia. he did move into my room though <3 even now on his last day, he's still in the corner making sure im okay. sweet selfless boy. im going to miss you so much

I'm so sorry. It looks like Rex lived a happy life. The fact that he spent his last night watching over you was a testament to how much he must have loved and appreciated you. I really hope you feel better soon. I'll be thinking of you.
thank you obie <3 youre like, my internet older brother! rex had the best life he could've had, he had puppies (he adored his puppies! we think that was probably the best time of his life), got to herd sheep, cows, and chickens, got taken on many many beach walks + did so much swimming and he got to watch his favourite people (me and my brothers) grow up :) he was the sweetest boy ever. since day 1 he was always trying to do the right thing

Oh my goodness I am so sorry for your loss. He looks like he was the sweetest boy ever. I am sure that you made him feel safe and loved on his last day; I hope you can find solace knowing he has passed as a dog surrounded with love. I wish these next few weeks to be easy on you.
