hey friends!
in the search for favicon that complement my new profile I wandered into some pretty niche corners of the graphics side of the internet, and found some really unique and helpful decome sites. I thought I'd link them all here for easy access for any new projects of yours! I hope these will help you track down pixels you've had trouble finding through the more frequently listed channels :-)
jasminnie - pixels one and pixels two for unorganised pixels. clicking 'materials' through to 'pixels' also allows you to select more specific categories, such as food, animals, and sanrio
sadthemes' tumblr - colour coordinated decome; includes pairs, rainbow and sanrio
re: hoeass - entirely animal crossing themed pixels, featuring stylistic consistency and some uncommon themes!
pixelbank - basically everything you could want, save for nature-themed decome!
emojibank - a japanese-language site, and possibly the most comprehensive at that. ignore the 「会員登録（無料）」button and instead navigate to the「キーワード入力」searchbar in the top-left corner to begin searching without registration required!
the trade-off is that you'll have to enter 'developer tools' (or your browser's equivalent) and click 'select element' on your desired decome, find and open in a new tab the image link, then save the item to your device and reupload it on an image hosting site (I use ibb.co) in order to use it.
※ I recommend using jisho to look up the japanese term (in kanji) for whatever you're after to find the best results.
engram pixel's tumblr - decent range of uncommon pixels!
pixel-diary's tumblr - well-organised pixels, and links to other pixel sources; but note that it lacks a search-bar.
mjf.jp - another japanese-language site; likely the second-most comprehensive. the same japanese-keyword recommendation for emojibank applies here too :-)
it does feature a registration-free search bar, but I could only access it on mobile :-p
decome lolipop - another japanese-language site. it doesn't require any input of keywords; just translate category titles as needed :-)
other directories
pixel peach - seems to feature both pixels and links to other pixel sites, but requires registration first :-p

of course!! also from one stamp enthusiast to another I'm considering adding a similar list for stamp sources in the future :3 but they work a little differently so we'll see :-p
