Missed opportunity for Lucifer Morningstar

I am not a fan of this show, I barely know anything about it. This is just an idea I had in my head.

Just a small thought I had when my friend talked about HH, where they mentioned that Lucifer Morningstar couldn't hurt sinners or something

I feel like that idea could've been done better if Lucifer was something similar to something I heard about Sad Satan — where the sin or something is so heinous that it even made satan sad

It could be something similar to like Dor in the book The Timekeeper by Mitch Albom. Where Dor who invented Time was banished into a cave and forced to listen to the consequences of his actions through a small pool of water, and that he couldn't do anything about it

It could be something like Lucifer being forced to face the consequences of his actions (Creating evil or something) and not being able to do anything about it, so he slowly becomes sad or depressed overtime when he sees a sin so heinous that it even made him sad
