I watch as the widow waltzes through empty corridors
Vacant, wretched corridors
She dances and departs from consciousness
The widow is waltzing in her sleep!
The insects and arachnids long to lull her furthermore
She stirs at their requests but wakes nevermore!
Her steps sporadically stutter!
Her head rolls and lips feign a grin
The insects and arachnids hubristically spin
Dashingly darting further down the damned corridor!
The insects flutter and flock
The arachnids stalk with her down the corridor!
They whisper and mutter
Her body performs no shutter!
And the arachnids and insects—
ravenously rush her down the ringing corridor!
“She is dormant!” I cry!
Though they drag her down the damned corridor
“Oh but she is dancing!” The arachnids bellow
Widow’s expression is far from mellow
Though the widow never wails and cries
She dances down the corridor to her direst arise!
