went on a great date last night

I had a great first date last night, and it was the first date I've ever been on since my breakup this year. He had great manners, was goofy and kind, and he even gave me flowers on the first date!

He did call me "darling", which I felt like was a bit off, but I'm sincerely hoping that he was just saying it jokingly and he does come off as neurodivergent/socially awkward so I'm hoping it's just him being excited and not him being some love bomber. My past trauma makes me skeptical about people, especially when they are kind to me, which makes me sad because they I always wonder if they have an ulterior motive. 

I'm definitely going on a second date with him though! Guess I'll just have to see. I'll definitely keep my heart open to let him in my life, but I'll also be careful and look closely for red flags. Learned this one the last time with my ex lol.
