first entry perchance..?

hello! I have absolutely no idea what to say but it doesn't really matter as i'm not active on here much. i've decided to publish a series of my thoughts when given a prompt, so I guess here's day one! I think my goal for this is to become better at expressing my thoughts to a group of people but also putting them into words in the first place If that makes sense.

prompt: what are the little things you notice in people?

One of my favourite traits humans have is how they express joy. we all have very separate lives but something that makes me feel a little more connected to strangers or people I don't know very well is seeing how they show that they're happy.

 I've noticed that I am very physical with it- i tend to jump or move my arms around and smile really big which might honestly be the autism speaking. someone I know very well is the same, which makes me really happy. another person I know just talks and talks and talks and talks (not in a negative way, I think its awesome) and I love seeing her absolutely yap about what she's happy about. something I noticed in one of my teachers is that whenever she's pleased with something she always fiddles with her ring. my dad tends to play music and my little sister makes lists or a plan, which is something I do when something exciting is coming up and I think its pretty cool that we share that trait.

seeing other people feel happy makes me feel so so happy because it's something that I can relate too with everyone. when I feel genuinely happy I feel very light and airy and seeing other people experience that, especially when its shared enjoyment makes me want to sob because its so HUMAN. 

thats the main thing, but another think I make a note to look out for is the accesspries people put on from day to day. my accessory rotation is very carefully thought out, and I love picking out new things to put on everyday, like clips, earrings, necklaces, perfumes, nail polish, etc. it's fun looking at someone, especially a random person on the bus, and thinking 'oh, they chose those earrings today' or 'they decided to paint their nails this shade of pink'. 

I'm definitely rambling here but i'm a person who very much craves connection, the thought of ending up lonely scares me a lot, which is why the things that I mentioned make me very happy.
