do people even exist in anthem

why is being a teenager in 2025 like SO boring. 

1 i live in like the most boring place on earth hello? anthem? gag me. there is nothing to do here, almost all the stores at the outlet mall are for preps and normies, they recently got rid of my one and only store i ever go to there (CLAIRE’S.) and now i have no cool stores to go to? like seriously WTF!! goodwill is my only savior, but why the hell are the prices so high? some people who shop there are poor and just want to be fashionable, can we please stop with these outrageous prices?

2 as a guy who does online school and has been doing online school practically my entire life, i have no irl friends. and i can’t just go to in person school because my social anxiety and depression literally makes that IMPOSSIBLE. plus i am not smart id be failing in person so hard. but then again i dont have any irl friends because everyone who lives in anthem is a prep! obvi i don’t discriminate, but i want emo and punk and other edgy people to be my friends, not preps who i know will totally talk shit about me 

3 both my guardians work so it’s not like i can get them to drive me somewhere else during the week, and if i ask to go somewhere on the weekend my mom usually says no! because she doesn’t want to go out and my brother doesn’t want to either. it’s so stupid! i need a car so bad, please 16, come faster, 

anyways, if i don’t start hanging around more people irl soon, i don’t know what ill do. xc
