Crispy Mustard Greens Fritters

These crispy Mustard greens fritters are a tasty and healthy snack for any season. Made with few ingredients from the kitchen the fritters are crunchy outside and soft inside. You can have these fritters with tea or as a light meal.

Fresh Mustard Greens → Finely Chopped!

Roast 1 tbsp oats, 1½ tbsp peanuts, ½ tsp ajwain, and ½ tbsp fennel seeds together into the pan.

LET’S PREPARE THE MIXTURE FOR FRYING THE MUSTARD GREENS

200 gm mustard greens 

Roasted mixture(1½ tbsp)

Rice flour (1½ tbsp)

Black pepper (1 tsp)

Besan or gram flour (1½ tbsp)

Curd (1½ tbsp)

1 whole egg

Salt to taste

Oil 1-2 tsp

Mix well


Heat mustard oil in a pan. Scoop small portions with a spoon or hand and shape into rough patties or fritters. Add the fritters gently into hot oil.

Fry on medium flame till golden and crisp on both sides.
