Someone please help plz plz plz

Ok, so there's this dude in two of my classes and I know NOTHING about him, but he has the most enchanting amazing eyes I've ever seen in my life and I HAVE to draw him. All I know about this dude is that he has a cool art style (draws in colored pen in his sketchbook, lots of stars and shit) and he is dead silent all class. I have asked a few of my friends about him and here's what I know: 1. He's bullied a lot, so I have to be careful not to make him feel like he's being bullied even though I just think he seems cool. 2. He was apparently in the special ed program, I'm not sure why but he's not in it now (I think) 3.he's artsy, he is in both my ceramics class an illustration. I have never seen this guy talk at all and I have no clue how to draw his eyes without seeming like a fucking freak. I tried to today, just by glancing at him from across the room, but now I'm worried he thinks I hate him or if I'm judging him. I'm thinking about just asking him, but that would be weird as fuck, so instead I'm thinking about getting to know him and then asking him later on. I have no clue what to do at all, so if anyone has any advice on how to act like an actual person and talk to people (I don't approach people, I wait for them to approach me, or I compliment them and never talk to them again unless they talk to me). I'm thinking about just telling him he has a cool art style and going from there, but if anyone has any advice let me know because I need to know this guy.
