“Moving Up Again”
The nights were long, the tears were real,
Homework stacked like a mountain to feel.
Pens ran dry, and dreams ran late,
Still I whispered, “Someday, I’ll graduate.”
There were days I nearly let it go,
When my grades sank quiet, soft, and low.
But each failure taught me how to stand,
To write my story with my own hand.
The pressure hurt, but it made me strong,
It showed me where I still belong.
Through sleepless eyes and endless pain,
I found my courage once again.
Now here I stand, my heart unbowed,
Among my friends, beneath the crowd.
For every scar and sleepless night
Was worth this moment, pure and bright.
So let the future call my name,
I’ve faced the storms
, I’ve played the game.
I may have suffered.
But I’ve grown
And moving up,
I’ve found my own.
First Poem of this year 2025.
