Learning a language.

Hello, everyone. If you come across this, then I’m sorry but this is a just a junk post. 🧍

I’m currently learning Russian again. It’s been so long, I want to return to it. I usually write everything down by paper, then store it inside of a binder. But sometimes when I’m on the go, I can’t see previous notes that I’ve left at home. So, I’ll be transferring my notes here to save for on the go. I apologize if anything is inaccurate or wrong, I’m still learning. Let me know if I got anything wrong! I enjoy hearing suggestions and constructive criticism that isn’t rude. This post is just a reminder to me. That way, I don’t have to store this somewhere in my endless, photo album or already overflowing notes. 

Тебя VS Вас. 

They both mean “you” followed by “have” usually. So, what’s the difference?

Тебя is the informal, singular “you,” whilst Вас is the formal “you” or the plural “you.” Тебя is used for friends and family, where Bac is used for strangers, elders or any group of people to show respect. 

Hopefully, this will help me to understand when choosing proper, word placement for grammar. 

Мой, мои и моё.

So many- What’s the difference? 

All mean “mine” or “my.” (I assume mine?) Anyways. But with gendered reasonings. ( ・∇・)

They are used for different nouns, basically. Мой is masculine, Моё for gender neutral - ? And Мои for plural.

Remember- Me… Plural means for more than one! Such as, Мои книги. (My books.)

This is very important for me to remember. 

I also forgot to add that there's a feminine one, "Моя."
