I think the 360 cams that people mount to the rear window of their cars are a mistake. Enables and encourages clout chasers (which there is a lot of in the car scene) to act a fool. 9/10 times I just see people doing really dumb stuff or making something out of nothing from these cameras. Idk man, I think it's lame. The car scene needs help. Can't wait till cars aren't trendy to be into anymore lol

I agree, but personally I don't think 360 cams are solely to blame. I've seen plenty of dudes just use them to record their trips in a new way that kinda spices things up. Not my thing personally but I see the appeal. The issues themselves come from TikTok and other social medias that ooze clout/hype culture. Everyone is trying to emulate their favorite influencers even if that means doing dumb stuff or putting the most tacky mods on their cars. There's little passion in it anymore with the younger folks, only numbers (likes and follows). I'm the same way, though, waiting for the community to reset itself. The bandwagoners never stay, just wondering how long this lot will last before they get bored or the popular thing changes and they hop ship.
oh yeah the cameras are not the sole reason, just a part of the issue at large. hard agree with you though
