Song Recs for today! - 11/12/25

I've been really liking this song by Swordes called Finally Found! it's very synth heavy and gives me Grimes vibes, specifically like her 2012 project, Visions. Swordes has a really soft, angelic vocal, and she used a lot of reverb and harmonies to create this beautiful, dark, ethereal vibe.

I'm also really loving Who Wanted by Neggy Gemmy. It's a dreamy, romantic song off of her album She Comes From Nowhere. The beat is heavy enough to have a punch to it, but not too heavy to overwhelm her softer vocals. And a perfect amount of grunge with the stanky, low growl of the electric guitar! It's a very nostalgic-sounding piece of music and I really love listening to it while I get ready for the day. One of those songs that really reminds you of the largeness of life and all the many possibilities it holds and has always held. But maybe I'm being overly dramatic...
