Im part of a few secret santas, like gift exchange stuff. To make it easy we all make a list of things we'd want so our secret gifter can just get those or be pointed in the right direction.
But omg im not good at asking for things I have NOOOOO idea what I want.
What do u guys want/need for christmas? Maybe Ill get some ideas lol

CDs!!! I LOVE CDs and I think they are a great way to truly fall in love with the music you listen too. Everyone is hyped about vinyl and stuff nowadays, why not CDs? They use literal LASERS to transform little tiny holes into Wonderwall by Oasis.
WAITTT SO SMART im literally planning on fixing my grandpas old walkman, so having some CDs would be so good.
Also I totally agree, vinyls are super cool, my sister has a record player and its fun using them. But I think Im more of a CD person myself. Theyre like small, so easy to store, I love the aesthetics they could be used for, and they remind me of when I was younger JFLDJSL. I would love to have a reason to bring back CD racks into my house.

I'm part of a secret santa this year too! I think the only things I'll ask for are a hardcover of my favourite book or a rug lol. I hope this inspires you, somehow..?
omg the book hardcover is actually a really good idea! I hardcovers of almost all my fave gothic books EXCEPT Frankenstein TT.TT I have 2 paperbacks, but I def need a fancy hardcover to match the rest

I'm not really sure what I want either lol TwT I really only want some waterproof earbuds so i can listen to music while showering (i use a communal bathroom so i dont wanna play anything out loud and be disruptful) but that might be a little much for secret santa idk lol. maybe some gift cards or candy/snacks? that usually goes well.
Ooooo waterproof earbuds is pretty smart tbh. Where I live it can rain suddenly during some seasons and I always gotta like quickly shove my headphones into my bag (the panic is not fun LMAOO) so thats honestly not a bad idea! Also ur so right about asking for candy omg
