#beingavirginisfun

If you're not a virgin, that's cool too. But being a virgin at 20 feels exhilarating. All my life I've witnessed how men (my age and way older) talk about sex like it's some sport and not an act of intimacy where connection can grow and prosper. It's funny when people find out that I'm a virgin. Women either see it as an amazing thing or they feel bad (those who feel bad are male centered or too boyfriend-focused) and men see it as an incredible discovery. They tend to ask why I've never engaged and I truthfully say it's because I've never felt drawn to have sex with anyone because I can never see a future with them.

I'm not waiting until marriage, but I am waiting for the one that not only attracts me overall but tugs at my soul and gives me the opportunity to grow in love together. Through authenticity, not perfection.

i rly agree to this even though im 17 . people my age have already done the deed , but personally im not rushing at all ( the complete opposite actually ) . i dont understand how so many people lose their virginity and do it so casually , with no intimacy , no future plans with the person theyre doing it with . obviously you can do whatever you want , but it amuses me how casual it is to lose your virginity nowadays ...

Not only all of the points you mentioned, it is also exhausting to deal with people over casual sex...

They either buzz like flies trying to get more of you, or they """fall in love"""
