Hello! I figured I'd start a blog here that I've been meaning to forever... a log of the visual novels I'm currently reading! I'm hoping to keep this updating regularly so I can share my thoughts on my reads + keep track of them (because it's hard for me to focus on just one at a time lol). Once I've finished a story, I can publish a review of it too! But no promises >_>... I am still a student, after all. Anyways, let's get started! 1. Umineko

[11/12/25] I'm so close to finishing this one!! It's around 200 hours long, so I've been playing it for around the past year on-and-off. I just recently hit 155 hours. What an incredible story; I feel like I dont have much of a right to make comments on it until I've completely finished tho, lol. My jumpy brain just means sometimes (like rn) I'll lose interest for a week or two >_< I know I'm definitely gonna cosplay beatrice, tho!

2. To Heart 2

[11/12/25] Another title I've been playing on-and-off for a few months. I feel like I've barely scratched the surface of the story -- but I do read it less than other VNs because it's not my usual fare. To Heart 2 is a slice of life romance gal game where you play as a normal high school boy falling in love with a variety of heroines. The retro art style is adorable, and the cozy, simple setting makes it my go-to when I need to detox from heavier VNs. So far, Kotone is my favorite, but I haven't even met all the heroines yet! If you love slice-of-life and/or slow burn, I think this is the perfect game (so far, at least).

3. Witch on the Holy Night

[11/12/25] I actually just started this game last night! The 2022(? don't quote me on that year) remake, to be exact. I've only played a few hours, but I'm hooked. The remake is so stylish, with gorgeous art, and I find it to be very atmospheric. I like other nasuverse stories (mostly just fate s/n LOL, i'll get to reading tsukihime EVENTUALLY) and I think both he and the EN translator have a combined writing style that feels very nice. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens -- as I only just got into chapter two, LOL :P
