signs u back then/or now had strict parents

1.) You felt the need to hide everything such as anything for example being gay,bisexual,transgender, and ect.

2.) You always were listening for footsteps and constantly staying alert for any signs of them.

3.)you felt as if you could never tell them anything about you *also if this happens it is possible you will end up faking a whole new personality infront of them and hiding the true you*

4.)you are scared to get yelled and/or getting in trouble.

5.) You always bottled up your feelings infront of them and trying to always act okay when your not.

6.)You never bring homework from school in worry that they'll be always be checking your mistakes.

7.) You always hide things and delete messages and/or history on your phones,tablets,computers, and ect.

8.)You always sneak around.

9.) You always lie to them in fear they'll scream or punish you for something and possibly lie to try to out of trouble.

10.) You are always careful around them when doing things so they don't get suspicious.

11.) You cheat on tests to make them happy when you get a good grade.

12.you do things to make them happy even if it doesn't make you happy.

13.) You feel as if you can't make your own decisions without them doing it for you and that makes you feel as if your decision/what you want doesn't matter and what only matters is what they want for you.

Likely if most of these were/are relatable then there's a chance you might be depressed and/or have strict parents but it could be you have strict parents and you just want to make them happy as possible. But if you are depressed because of these possible causes as in right now if you are under 18, then just don't worry because you'll be free from it when you are 18 and later tell them the real you because you'd be an adult then so they can't actually ground you.
