Lately, art has been really fun lately. For the past year or so, it was really hard to just enjoy my creations or have fun without having to stress about anything. Ive come to realize, the reason why I was acting this way was because I was trying too hard. I always had to make my drawings polished--fully colored or rendered with smooth, clean lineart. All this just to get a flimsy couple likes when I post it. It drove me crazy. But when you take a step back from it all and not worry about how good your art looks all the time, it is so much more freeing. DRAW for YOU NOT for OTHER PEOPLE.
Anyways heres a character I plan on selling maybe, SHES STILL A WIP

dude ur art is so pretty!! and i totally agree, i'm also trying to break through the mental barrier of perfectionism. bc honestly, you have the most fun and most growth when you let yourself just mess around
Honestly—You can’t really improve with art if you’re not experimenting of course, but also, art isn’t about being better all the time it’s to impact, how it makes you feel is the upmost importance! I really appreciate the compliment as well haha! Thank you thank you<33
