Queer spaces are wayyyy better

I'm not sure if anyone else has had a similar experience, but having been of age for a few years and going to clubs, I've had wayyy better experiences at gay clubs than other ones. 

Here are the main reasons:

- cover is always cheap af (one-time membership or >$10) PLUS free or very cheap coat check

- very rarely is the music bad

- no male and female bathrooms, just toilets and urinals

- everyone is very sweet and willing to help

- even when straight people show up, they're usually a little nervous so are chill or super allies that are even more chill

And don't get me wrong, during the times I've gone there have been some pretty disgusting things said towards people, specifically younger gay men. Even though it is fun, whenever you go out, it is important to remember to stay safe and with at least one or two trusted people to make sure you get home safe. 

Moral of the story is that even though I would highly highly highly recommend going to a gay club over any other for many reason, please be safe and watch out for yourself; the only person who ever truly has your back is you.
