media highlight #1

i want to start doing media highlights 

there is so much random media on the net and i can drag up something each time. for example: obscure pop on spotify, speedpaints on youtube, lists on rateyourmusic, collections on the internet archive, websites from nekoweb or neocities, old websites with web graphics to explore, etc...

the first media highlight is Built on Secrets - Reflections. it is an emo/alternative EP from 2010 by a band from melbourne, australia (surprisingly). im usually fussy with post-hardcore but i approve of this. it is very comforting and feels nice to listen to while drawing in my bedroom.

i love how there are occasionally nature themes in the lyrics - that's pretty rare for emo rock.

the songs flow into each other really nicely and the vocals are not winy or anything but still feels super emo. has some female vocals too! good and underrated EP :3
