songs i am currently obsessed with pt 2

i miss rambling on here so i'm back to yap into the void again about my favourite songs because even if very little people see this, i like having this for my own enjoyment to look back on and reminisce in a few months

Grace Enger - "Running Back To You"

 my grace enger obsession continues (thank you erin). also it took me WAY too long to realise why people were calling it 'the ketchup song' so that was a bit embarrassing.

Joni Mitchell - "A Case of You"

i know i'm quite late to the party but i watched practical magic a few months back and not only did i get obsessed with the movie, i also love the soundtrack and in particular, joni mitchell. falling in love with this song lead to me listening to a few more songs from joni's 'Blue' and i plan to give the album a full listen at some point (but i have to be in the right mindset otherwise it'll just wash over me and i'll forget every song). but 'a case of you' is definitely my absolute FAVOURITE joni mitchell song so far, it speaks to me in a way that feels really personal.

Maisie Peters - "Audrey Hepburn" and "You You You"

I am SO EXCITED that maisie is finally releasing new music and that mp3 is on the way!! i adore both of these songs and i've seen videos of unreleased songs she's performed at her latest shows so i have a good feeling about the new album!!! in particular i'm looking forward to 'vampire time'. 

Youth Group - "Lillian Lies"

I went to see youth group with my mum and cousin recently and I will admit I only knew 'Forever Young' and a few songs from their new album that mum had been listening to in preparation for the concert. But hearing new and old songs at the concert inspired me to check out their stuff properly and I'm really enjoying it. 'lillian lies' is a particular favourite of mine but I quite like what I've heard of the 'skeleton jar' album so far and also 'daisychains' and a few songs from their most recent album.

Fleeland - "Ain't As Pretty A Blue"

I discovered this song through tiktok but it wasn't out yet and I didn't follow their account so i just had to hope that the song found me again. funnily enough, i discovered it was out from maisie peters on the twinhood podcast when she and ellen were recommending songs and rushed to listen to it. don't have much to say about this song but i adore it.
