I am sick and tired of how so many kids at my school are LGBT but aren't actively in their communities or are literally homophobic. Every time I hear a queer person at my school say smth along the lines of "why can't we just keep things simple/there are only two genders/Trump supports the gays/I'm gay but not that kind of gay" I die a little inside. How are you going to be gay but do allat?? Being a more "acceptable" gay person to Straight Heteronormative people doesn't change the fact that UR GAYY. Queers putting themselves back in the boxes that so many people fought to get rid of will always be the bane of my existence. BE GAY BE QUEER DO GAY AND QUEER SHIT AND BE PROUD PLS

i mean, i guess people don't have to make being gay their whole personality (from the way i'm reading it)
