Omg you crazy bastard ily sm. He is my favorite director for a reason bro. 

I am a big Frankenstein fan, I love the book and seeing different renditions of the story. I think its cool how people interpreted it. Yes, Del Toro's was not completely accurate to the book but it's such a unique interpretation- he still kept so many good aspects from the book.

God I think what I love the most about this movie is how he portraited the creature and how well Jacob Elordi preformed as him!!!! I'm not gonna lie I was a bit worried at first, the only other piece of media I've seen him in was euphoria- but he absolutely embodied the creature!!

I really love the story of the Creature- The way the move was written it really makes you feel for him, and realize that Victor was the true monster who left his creation on his own not giving him the right guidance. I also love the studdle implication that the creature can't die because he was created like Adam- without original sin. 

Finally gothic lit is getting popular again!! I've been seeing so much amazing fan art teehee! :}
