I really don't understand the hate for The Hobbit movies. Maybe I'm bias tho- because i prefer Hobbit over LOTR. I grew up reading The Hobbit way before i got into LOTR.
A lot of the complaints I've heard is that people don't like that it was cut into the three movies. I mean yeah they probably did that so they could get more money- its Hollywood. but, if it was all one movie so much would have been cut from the books.
My partner complains that Legolas and Gandalf look way older...idk i don't see much of a difference, and even if i did i don't think that effects the movie that much. Oh god don't get me started on the casting! It's sooo good, everyone ate <3

i really like the hobbit movies as well! i didn't even know they were hated until i looked online LOLZ.
the main complaint of it being split into three is a bit odd, in my opinion. like you said, if it was one movie, a lot would be cut. or people would consider it too long, and it would be hated for such anyway. what can you do.
i didn't really see much a difference in them either, it doesn't take away from the movie much. and everyone did act so well! i admit i do prefer the coloring and technical effects of the first movie, but still. i don't hate the hobbit trilogy.

I mean yea, it's diffferent than the LOTR movies, but they're not bad, right?
The cast is still peak and I think it's better to do 3 long Movies than one that doesn't feature enough stuff from the book.
I havent't watched the The Hobbit movies in a while, but from what I remember, I rly liked them.
I'mma def re-watch them now ;P
