Stop complaining about your life

Maybe a bit clickbaity, but i stand by what i said. If you want your life, mental health, relationship prospects to improve, complaining will serve you nothing. 

I have been very mentally ill in the past. Although getting better is'nt "pulling yourself up by your bootstraps" you do have to put in the work. You do still have to pull yourself up. Do the difficult things. And cease putting yourself in a space where you complain about things. You must stop describing yourself as depressed to get better. To get better, you have to go outside even if it's raining. You have to talk to people you dont really like before you start to click, or at the very least before you meet "your" people. You have to get off of the internet. 

Mental health is closely related to the people you interact with on a daily or weekly basis, your activity level and your diet. 

People (my past self included) assume that getting better is something that is bestowed upon you randomly, or, they try to put in the work and give up because its difficult, and assume that they are destined to stay this way, stagnant, forever. 

Stop following politics for a few weeks, see how it changes your headspace. Be generous to others, and others will be generous towards you. 

If you fall into the "but what if's" or the "there is this exception to x" then you are missing the point. Your mental health will only get better if you learn to take accountability for your past actions, and responsibility for your future. 

Identifying issues with yourself, or your life is easy. Finding a way out, and fighting for it is the difficult part.
