We need to bring back In Character panels at cons

On my second reading of the infamous webcomic, homestuck, as well as my completion of the podcast "Homestuck Made This World" (Genuinely goated, if you're into textual analysis I'd highly recommend), I really started having nostalgia for an era I have never, and at this point will never, experience. Homestuck started quite literally the year I was born, but watching old "QNA in character" panel recordings and convention vlogs, I mourn how fandom used to exist within the space of cringe, without any self awareness.

I wonder why we stopped doing stuff like this, and honestly, I have the urge to try and organize a homestuck revival panel in honor of the pilot reviving interest a little. Only problem is, conventions are so goddamn popular now, which I'm not complaining about (yes I am, I am complaining), community led panels are BARELY a thing anymore. For context, I live in NSW Australia and while we have cons, they're VERY centralized. There's like 2 different organizations that do pretty much all cons across the country, and those cons are BIG with completely open area design, making panels pretty daunting for young people to participate in and be cringe, as you're literally in front of everyone.

I think the best way to go about it is trying to organize a meet at one of these cons to at LEAST gather a cast and admin, maybe make it a regular thing, idk lol... and then from there, contact a smaller convention (Comicgong, for those who know) and try to get a panel room to mess around in. Idk, if anyone has done anything like this, PLEASE TELL ME, I need help gng, I'm newgen.

Honestly, I just want more friends that like the same things I do lol. I got like 3 ppl I have in mind for casting (one of them is so so so cool omg I genuinely wanna be brotine shakes with her, shes so funny, I'm glazing lol)

anyway that's it, idk, this is a ramble

LISTEN TO HOMESTUCK MADE THIS WORLD :B
