Covid

Last year I received notification from my covid saying I was positive on Christmas Eve. This year felt a cold coming on weeks ago and it was getting better but last week became worse. I mentioned to my wife I saw a commercial for a home test kit. She said I should get one. It's just a cold, I told her. Last year I didn't feel bad, except a burning in my lungs, which a year later still exists making it difficult when I run half marathons. But I only feel it when I run, so this is just a cold - but I thought I would humor her. I finally found a test and moments later, on Christmas Eve, it showed positive. Two years in a row :-/ we were supposed to go to two parties that night. I skipped the first but went to her cousin's party. It  was outside and I wore a mask. Her other cousin was there with his nurse girlfriend. She called me into the other room and had a test. I thought I probably did it wrong so I said let her do it. That too showed positive. So I've been in my bedroom since, which even when I'm not sick, that's usually where I am. This morning returned to the mobile testing center where where I went last year and completed the saliva test. I'll know for sure probably Tuesday or Wednesday.
