i remember when fandoms were created through people's discoveries and interests. its funny how online communities and fandoms today are just found through trends and not through a person's own individuality. i got into fandoms like danganronpa, ddlc, and fnaf through my own discovery and interest because it aligned with my own personality and i know other people could relate with that which gives the beauty and purpose behind most niche communities. theyre just chilling with each other, talking and interacting with other people that share the same interests as them and letting their fandom thrive in this messy virtual world of the internet. right now, there are so many posers on social media (especially the ones that just discovered junko posing) and i hate it. most of them somewhat indirectly mocking us actual fans of fandoms that i feel bad for all other weird kids that were in the 2020tok community in the pandemic. as a weird kid myself, it feels wrong to hop on the bandwagon when you judged the design of the bandwagon itself before it became evrywhere. trends are ruining niche communities and it lets the bad type of normies take over. thats all for now, thanks for reading!
