Improving my life (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ tips you could take in this fast paced world...

What I mean by this is that, let's be honest, life is all about caffeine, being on time, and expecting instant results. Basically, people don't know how to take their time anymore. I understand it, though. We're all stressed out from the state of the world, but that doesn't mean you have to think about it 24/7; there's no rule that you can't take a moment or even a day to relax. Life is messy, but when isn't it? So, I've been watching a lot of life hack/ guide videos from like 2016 or even 2010 to see how I could improve my living/life situation and take the day with more energy and less doomscrolling. 

-Get an actual alarm clock; better than having to rely on your phone to wake you up, and not to have the phone close to you while you sleep.

-This one's a more pricey option because flip phones are so hard to come across cheaply now; start using a flip phone more instead of a smartphone. You'll only ever need it for calls, texts, or photos! Or not even an iPhone, having an iPod Touch or any old model of an iPhone works too, iPhone 4-7, is good too because they aren't updated after a certain year.

-START COLLECTING DVDS!! I've been slowly starting to do this on a budget because I'm getting tired of browsing on streaming services and end up with nothing to watch. Plus, you're not paying almost $20 a month to corporations that only care about the consumption and quantity. #BringRedboxBack

-Take more pictures with a digital camera, not only for aesthetic reasons but also to save more storage on your phone! I recommend transforming the photos onto your laptop/desktop if you wanna share them online.

-Take time to organize or follow life hacks to improve your mood at home! I personally watch a lot of YouTubers like Wengie, BeautyByKat08, MyLifeAsEva, etc., might seem childish, but sometimes you kinda have to if you wanna enjoy your life, I guess. They have surprisingly good tips, though! It will seem like a lot, but once you're done, it's all worth it.

-BREAKFAST IS IMPORTANT! I know we don't always have time to make breakfast or wanna get up super early, but not to sound like that person. Soda/Energy drinks/coffee isn't breakfast 0_o. Your body needs nutrients like any living thing, and it's your responsibility to take care of it! Even if it's just small, having cereal with banana bits is SOOO GOOD, 

-streaming services, like the DVD one I made, also need to be on pause. This one is getting hard for me personally, cause new music keeps coming out and I don't always have time to download everything onto my desktop when I'm out. But it's AMAZING having an MP3 player to carry around, with all the music you only like, and if you want to add more music, just write it down or make a mental note, and download once you get home! It can be an iPod of any generation, a Walkman, or a cassette player! PHYSICAL MEDIA IS SWAG!!! BRING IT BACK!!

-Clothes don't really matter much, but clothes do reflect your mood sometimes, so wear things that aren't like everyone else's. more colors, a unique style, something that makes you feel good and confident! maybe a color or a shirt, whatever. Personally, I base my style on Scemo and the 2016 internet era of YouTube, and it makes me feel good and heals a bit of my inner child.

- Candles, perfumes, calloges, with smells that remind you of an old time or something that makes you feel comfy or remind you of a better time!

- surround yourself with colors/posters/media or the things you like, whether that be a game, a show, or a band you like, having a little clutter is okay! you're room is supposed to be a reflection of your mind, something you see every morning, and it fills you with the energy sometimes to go out and do stuff!

-Just limit your screen time, I feel like I don't have to explain this. cause believe it or not, [Being on your phone 24/7 while outside is or out with friends is super rude and disrespectful, to me.] Being on the phone so much instead of just putting it down to enjoy your surroundings and take pictures, it makes you miss the passed moment more! There have been so many moments in my life where I'd miss so much while out because I would prefer to be on my phone than appreciate the moment. Though I was struggling with a lot back then, just a little sightseeing could have helped me.

These are just my personal tips/opinions, though, and this is all I have for now. You are allowed to live your life however you want, but we all deserve a break to just live in the moment! Time flies too fast, one moment you're a 5th grader living the time of your life, then you blink and you're a senior in high school about to graduate and turning a year closer to 20 (𖦹ᯅ𖦹)

Although if you want, you can use this as a guide too ^_^!! 

I'm healing myself by trying to help others and be involved in people's lives. I used to do that a lot back in the day until 6th grade, where my kindness was taken advantage of. I'm growing to look past that and reach out my hand once more. I want to work on trying to become the person I've dreamed of being, though the road is still bumpy, I'll make it, and so will you! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡
