Yk, I have a baby cousin. Real young, and I had to sit and listen to my aunt repeat my deadname over and over again trying to teach my little cousin who I was. I’m closeted when it comes to my family because I know they’re all transphobic

It’s really dissapointing listening to my little cousin learn to recognize me as someone I’m not. It’s like, I have a chance for someone in my family to learn me as who I am without ever knowing who I was, but being closeted kind of stamps on that and it suckz. Like nooo that’s not my name please stop saying it is but I can’t say anything so GAHH
