New Local Artist Shop - Toronto Art Haul

This past Sunday my partner and I went to Toronto to visit some shops that sell local art!!

There's a store called Mr. Surprise that has a new rotation of artists every month, and I was really excited about their October rotation since they had artists there that I've been following for a long time! I got some prints from an artist called pondsizedocean, a Princess Tutu print by alicenpai, and a print from another artist called maruti_bitamin.

Next we went to a new artist shop that opened their Toronto location last week called Artist Alley Shop!! They've been so busy since opening that in the first week there were lines with a 40-60 minute wait time! Luckily by Sunday the hype had died down a little bit and we could just go right in :3 They did, however, ask if we could keep our visit to 30 minutes if possible. We did our best for our first time, and ended up being in an out within 40-45 minutes!

There was SO MUCH to see. I wish I took photos of the inside. The isles were lined with little tables and booths full of art by different artists. Each artist had their own area, and despite some booths being very small the artists did a great job filling them with TONS of art!

There were stickers, bag charms, acrylic stands, art prints, keychains, buttons, enamel pins, bags, plushies, and so many other things.

From the Artist Alley Shop, I got more prints by pondsizedocean, a print by andalinarts, a bag charm by maruti_bitamin and one by cynniarts!

I didn't realize nor was it my intention to get so many Jojo's Bizzare Adventure related art... but here we are lol!
